East Beach is the only alcohol-serving beach in Galveston!

We're also one of the largest beaches in Texas! With over 70+ acres of beachfront, there's plenty of room for everyone and lots of things to do!

The chairs and umbrella was super clean and a nice set up! Super easy to book the rentals online. The employees were very nice and it was super convenient for the food and drinks! Will be coming back next time I’m in town!

Love the beach cantina... they have great views from the top of the stairs. Serving breakfast and lunch options, beer, Margaritas and more! Love this side of the island... this will continue to be my go to beach spot in Galveston.

East Beach Cantina & Rentals is located on the far eastern tip of Galveston Island off of Boddecker Rd. The Cantina offers food and drinks and has free wifi. Our beach shop down on the water has all of your beach essentials. You can rent shade as well as purchase food & drinks. Forgot something at home? We got you covered. We have everything from towels, boogie boards, sunscreen and much more.

Location

Directions from Houston:

Take Hwy I-45 south until it turns into Broadway (Ave J). Continue on Broadway (Ave. J) for 3.9 mi. Stay left as it turns into Seawall Blvd. Take Seawall Blvd to the east .6 miles and turn right on Apffel Park Dr. Follow Apffel Park Dr for 2 miles and it will dead end. The Park Entrance will be on your left.

Open Daily through the Summer until School Starts. Fall Shoulder Season starts August 18 when we will be open Saturday and Sunday Only with the exception of Labor Day which is Monday September 1st.
